Beautiful location, lack of maintenance and upkeep

Loved the pool and the staff were absolutely wonderful.

It appears the owners don’t prioritise upkeep. We had many issues with the private pool’s pump (which is the primary reason we booked the room). The pool was infinity style and several days the water was declining several inches and it was clear the water wasn’t cycling through. The water in the shower was also not draining well, so by the end you’re standing in a pool of several inches of water. The electricity also cut one night and we slept without air conditioning, making it so hot and sticky. Several of the problems occurred over the NYE holiday, so only so much could be done, but it was a bit strange the owners didn’t reach out to offer a small discount given the amount of issues we were having. The staff were absolutely wonderful and very apologetic, but it seems to be poor management not investing in routine checks and maintenance.

Our stay was a great experience.

Breakfast was included daily and it was very delicious. The staff was very kind and friendly, and always available. The location was great, close to the Ubud city center.

Too many mosquitoes and not enough repellent and the door had a slight crack so bugs could get in. We stayed a week so we just dealt with it. The office provided a citronella coil but I feel like we could've used a couple more so that we could enjoy the porch, we spent most of our time at the villa indoors.

Very Good

Walkable distance to main streets, no traffic noise, almost private pool, big tank of drinking water, friendly staff When had ant problem, staff came quickly to handle the situation and offered to wash all my clothes which had been in touch with antluggage.

Not so clean room, aircon was hard to get to not blow on face when sleeping, had a small ant problem (my fault, luggage had few crumbs of chips) so ants came to room and luggage, small selection of breakfast, shower drain wasnt the fastest so water might flood allover to bathroom floor so washing long hair didnt come in question.

The villa was so cute and private. Of the two villas sharing the pool, we had the one closer to the street so the one at the back would've been quieter. They do provide ear plugs. Staff were helpful and friendly throughout our stay.

The shower cubicle glass needed a thorough clean (there was soap scum at the bottom and some mould in places) and the loose stones on the shower floor although decorative, made it necessary to put the water pressure way down so water wouldn't flood the bathroom floor. Bed also wasn't very comfortable - too hard and bouncy and we woke with sore necks and backs

The location was closer to Ubud Centre and property matched the description and photos. The staff were really nice and always available on site to help. The door was a bit difficult to close, but as soon as WhatsApp’ed they came and fixed it straight away.

Would really like if property can do good pest control.

Very comfortable, clean and unique stay in a traditional style Balinese house. Had everything we needed, great breakfast

We loved the beautiful traditional Balinese style house. The pool was great, clean and cool. The bed was so comfortable, and air conditioning really helped at night, house was clean and comfortable. Butler service was lovely, cooked breakfast delicious with great options.

Location of property was close to ubud centre (15 mins walk to ubud centre) but slightly off the beaten track, with no sidewalks, a few busy roads to cross it was really harrowing and unsafe. I was nearly knocked over by a bike when trying to cross the road! I recommend ordering a ride, car or motorbike for only R25,000. Use local drivers vs. grab. Neighbouring properties were noisy during the day, building construction across road meant constant hammering was a bit much at times and a local outdoor karaoke event was loud. Niw know why ear plugs are provided. Smoker at neighbouring property affected my enjoyment of the day I spent by the pool, constant smell of cigarettes.

peaceful/beautiful villa !

first off, the staff are the kindest and welcoming people, the villa itself was beautiful, nothing to fault from my stay. they were able to accommodate gluten free food options for myself for breakfast and the pool was perfect! the ambience of the villa itself is very relaxing and the sounds of rushing water from a close by river is beautiful - not overly loud but a nice background noise while you sleep. the villa provided all amenities I could think that you would possibly need including an extra adaptor in case you didn’t bring your own!

We loved the accomodation. The breakfast was a highlight.

Breakfast was delicious and convenient. Staff were very friendly and super helpful. Located short walk away from main streets yet no real noise from the traffic. Beds were comfortable and supplied with clean filtered water.

We booked the 2 bed villa with outdoor bath, which didn’t allow access to the pool or to a shared kitchen. Maybe we read the description incorrectly. Thankfully the food options in town were awesome and there was a restaurant close by with a pool.

This was by FAR our favourite accommodation of our trip. Incredible value for money - you feel like you're in your own private space, sharing a pool with just one other unit, and the staff bring breakfast to you first thing in the morning. The room was gorgeous, the bed so comfortable, and you open the front door to what feels like your own rainforest.

perfect location, peaceful surroundings

we checked in around 1am and the gentleman who greeted us was so incredibly friendly and warm. the accommodation was absolute breathtaking, we couldn’t believe it was real! my partner and I went for our honeymoon and it was in a great location, just a short walk to Ubud central. the breakfast was divine and came on time every day. highly recommend this for a cute couple getaway!
